There’s also a lot of lore, legendary monsters, and customization, but the star of the show is really the breeding and fusion. The battle system otherwise is like a simplified (though not necessarily easier) Pokemon battle system. The main differences are breeding keeps the parents but starts the child off at level 4 once it hatches, while fusing results in a monster with a level comparable to the original two monsters - additionally, certain fusions create entirely new monsters! Monsters have “DNA” and breeding or fusing two monsters results in a sort of cross breeds, with the new monster taking some attributes from each parent (like species, color, stats, and even typing and growth rate). The main draws of the game are breeding and fusion.
